Many of my clients have expressed their sadness at the news that Just 4 Fun is closing. As you may know, I have had a display there for the past 2 years. Over that time, I have become friends with Lynn, Larry, Barb, and the staff . Lynn was one of the first people to help me see the light after making the difficult decision to leave my former studio. We had many discussions that things happen for a reason, and that it would all turn out ok. I have been very fortunate to have had the community support in my effort to establish Firefly Photography. It is now our turn to take this time and show Just 4 Fun what they mean to our community! Loosing this business is a loss for Grafton and the area. Lets show Just 4 Fun that we need them! Please, in the next few weeks, take time out of your busy lives to spend some quality time with your kids and other families by going to Just 4 Fun. If we want this great place to survive, we must show them that they have our support and business. A closing date has not been established and may not happen if, we go just 4 the fun of it!!

If you are anything like me, your wondering where the summer went. I can’t believe the kids go back to school soon and what warm weather we have had will soon disapear. I have been keeping myself very busy thanks to all of you. I’ve had the opportunity to work with quite a few new clients and have been catching up with many old ones! Thank you to each of you for choosing me to capture a very special time in your lives. 
We are now spending some quality family time together and getting a little R&R before the holiday rush! I am also getting ready to shoot my beautiful niece’s wedding. If you are trying to reach me, please be patient, I will be back in town Sept. 1. 
Speaking of beautiful weddings, I had the privilege of capturing L&J’s day just before leaving. Congratulations! The day could not have been more perfect!

Where does the time go? I know I wrote already about all the new babies but WOW have they been keeping me busy! Spring has a way of reminding us of how precious new life is. And reminds us that summer will soon be at our doorstep..although living in WI we all wish it would get here a little sooner. I am already booking appointments in July and August. If you are thinking of doing a summer session, I would suggest booking early!
Crazy Water
What a month it has been! Along with all my new babies (we seem to be in a bit of a baby boom right now!) and my growing babies (quite a few hit the 6 month mark) I’ve had the privilege to work with Peggy from Crazy Water Restaurant in Walkers Point. Peggy contacted me looking for some creative photographs of her restaurant for a new website. I found Peggy to be a great person and her cooking smelled awesome! Can’t wait to go back and photograph her food…and try some samples!
My other adventure this month was traveling to Scottsdale, AZ for Nick and Kelly’s wedding. This was my first time in the desert. Being a beach girl I was surprised how much I liked it. What a beautiful location to get married. Let me tell you, the bride and groom could not have looked happier! Thank you for the privilege of sharing in your day. Congratulations!!
